Its been a long time coming.

My business project partner asked me what I was going to get for my father for Father's Day. I paused for a few seconds, and responded "nothing." Avoiding to dampen the mood, I just shrugged it off and we continued on.

So my second brother and his wife have been looking for a house, and I think they'd found one. Them moving out will cause some issues with the house I am living in now. It is much too big of a house for it to be only occupied by my mother and I. She had this discussion with me about the situation and it looks like there's a high chance where we would start renting out the extra rooms. My mom would either go live with my brother or stay here; either way, we would have to rent out the rooms. The house is not payed off yet, so we need some sort of extra income. The house would most likely change its ownership under my name and I will inherit the property. Everything is happening so fast, and I would love to have friends move in with me. They are also thinking about selling the house which will result with my mother and I moving into a smaller place. Whatever happens, it is happening pretty fast. Lets just hope they don't buy the house too soon.

So much space for activities.

I made a purchase today in IKEA. It was the hot ticketed item for Memorial Day and I guess I took advantage of it. I bought a sofa-bed for 149.99. The store in West Covina had 250 in stock but they were sold out by 1pm. The next closest store was in Burbank and they had about 100 left, and my brother was nice enough to go get it for me after work. I spent the last two hours dismantling the old bed frame and installing the newly bought asset and my room looks bigger now, but it will take me quite awhile to get fully comfortable sleeping.

You should come over and take a look.

Don't let me down.

This weekend was a mind game, and I think I passed.

I went to the beach today with the family. It was a much needed getaway, for a few hours at least. I was so bitter the past two days. I was raged with frustration when I couldn't figure out how to handle the present situation. It was to the point where I wanted to yell out and let everything go.

I made the initiation today, and I said what was needed to be said. I smoked two cigarettes today, what a shame.

On another note, here are some of the beach photos.

I feel somewhat better now.

Dylan Wayfarers.

I love these. They should be coming in sometime next week. Hopefully I can pull these off.

I need some time alone.

I am tired and I am lying to myself.

I feel unnatural and unfaithful to my own morals and beliefs. It frustrates me when I feel like I have to do something when I really don't. I give myself the perfect excuses, making it seem as if my actions are justified.

What have I done. It's implanted in my head so deep that I am starting to believe the lies that were told. I need some time alone. I'm in need of a vacation; I need to go somewhere. Maybe I can do what I had planned for last year with Amtrak. If anything, I just need to drive somewhere far.

Santa Cruz, you're not that far. Maybe I'll stop by, by the end of this month.

I heard there was a secret chord

"that David played to please the lord..."

As much as I can remember, I was about six years old.
My uncle came over one day with a rectangular bulky black box.
He said to my mom that it was for me to have; I opened it.

It was an electric piano. I sat there, curious.
He plugged it in and played me a song.

"but you don't really care for music, do you?
Well it goes like this, the fourth, the fifth.
The minor fall and the major lift."

I was ever since attached to it. I blame it for the cause of all my music expenditures now, but I also blame it for my love of its sound.

It's broken now, but I still have it.

"the baffled king composing hallelujah..."

Love is grand, and I love music. Music is love.

"Hallelujah"

To a woman so heartless

It's been too long, and I am afraid to see how it turns out. I have given it some thought, thanks to some sound advices. A decision has been made. I just do not want to hit myself for doing this in the end.

Sigh.

Make it happen!

That's the motto of Dick's Sporting Goods. We have to work towards success, not just wish it!

That is what they told us today, with big smiles.

Today was the first day we had to wear our uniforms. We all joked and gave each other a smirk as we saw each others' attire. Who knew it would make such a difference, but we all found it hilarious. We will re-open on Friday, no longer as Chick's. It was good working for you, Jim Chick, but I guess even you fell to the hands of the dying economy.

Michelle, my belle.

Yesterday was the wedding of my cousin Michelle. She remains one of the very few cousins that I keep in contact with. Going through one of the biggest transitions in her life, she looked stunningly beautiful. The groom was Chirag Desai, a really relaxed and a kind-hearted man. They both looked so happy, everyone was happy. I took Meesh along as the date for the night and she looked great like always, especially when the occasion requires formal attire.

Meesh and I took a walk at a beach side park for about an hour during the pre-reception. The weather was kind and the sun was bright, which was perfect for photography. Our luck was high when we bumped into three Golden Retrievers frolicking around the grass. One of them was named Moesby, the oldest, but yet the friendliest.

Congratulations, Michelle Desai.

On and on, she goes.

Courtney Sabine, I am very proud of you. Good luck in D.C. with the internship. You shouldn't worry too much about growing up. Friendships that fade away usually result with new ones. And besides, me and the other guys are still here. You know you'd still have us. We will be waiting for you to come back. Remember to take a fuckload of pictures and send me your address!

Don't think twice, it's alright.

For the first time in my life, I am going to officially receive a failing grade in school. Man, I need to get my shit together. Sigh, it happens.

Things to do by the end of the week (Friday):
  • Wash the outside of my car.
  • Clean the inside of my car.
  • Fix the stereo fuse of my car.
  • Get a oil change for my car.
  • Purchase another light for my backdrop.
  • See Courtney before she leaves for DC.
  • Get a gift for my cousin.
  • Find something to wear for the wedding.

Birds don't quack, stupid.

They don't hibernate either, fucktard.

So this past week was busy, and time seemed limited for some reason. Let's catch up.

Resident Evil 5 is quite different compared to its predecessors. It's more action oriented and cooperative game play is now available!! This means you can literally watch your teammate get decapitated by the chainsaw man, haha.

Dick's Sporting Goods is pretty much complete in there transition phase, about 85% I would say. Things are already starting to change, as well as our appearance. We all received our uniforms and it consists of a green polo and khaki slacks, along with a DSG lanyard with our name tag. The change is inevitable, and it might not be for the best. Survival of the fittest, I guess.

Karaoke is always a good place to vent, especially through song. Michelle, Steven and Jocelyn managed to join us this time and it was overall a good time. Michelle was very lively, surprisingly. I'm glad she enjoyed herself. Speaking of her, we are attending my cousins wedding this Saturday. It's located at Dana Point on a hilltop I believe, pretty bad ass.

Cal Poly might fuck me over again, but this time, it will be permanent...
The main difference this time around is that it is my fault, I am to blame if anything happens. We shall see if I can pull this through.

Marty came home this weekend for his brother's birthday. He managed to make time for me and came over to my house Saturday night. We ended up playing music for 4 hours straight, and it was one of the productive jam sessions I've had. Two acoustic guitars can create such wonders.

I've started on my photography project. I want to acquire a white backdrop with two fluorescent photography lights. But as for now, I bought a white bed sheet, ironed it, and hung it on my wall. As for the lights I went to Lowes for the construction lighting equipment. It's a temporary substitute, until I make more space in my room, I will then make the investments.

My nephew Taylor had his baby shower this past weekend. Chinese cultures celebrate the baby shower a month after the baby is born, FYI. A lot of relatives came, and it was overall very loud at my house. I managed to get Taylor some black and white Chucks and a one piece pajama that said "PEACE." Its pretty awesome, I'd think, haha.

That's all folks.
