The love for the undead.

I could've sworn that the public's love for zombies would've been gone by last year, but apparently I am way off.  Minecraft have invaded back into my life again, and this time I have a newbie girlfriend as my companion, haha.  Although she may be new to this world, she is god damn ambitious and I know she has my back, :). Testing out the LAN multiplayer, it's so much more convenient than setting up a third party server.  But I think I will eventually have to relearn how to set one up soon.

Another reason I am way off is because of the Walking Dead. Thanks to Briamy telling us about the website, we started catching up Season 3 and we...can't...fucking...stop.  Too intense, too frustrating, and too cool.

Anaheim is a German word.

Last weekend, we had a small gathering for a night of beer pong at my house.  I haven't played beerpong since Halloween, so I figured it was time to plan one.  However, a majority of the group couldn't come out this time.  The five of us did what we could and still had a great time. I want to drink.

The next day, Vanessa and I attended our first hockey game! We watched the Anaheim Ducks defeating the St. Louis Blues.  Just like any other sporting game I've been to, the crowd gets you going and you genuinely want your home team to win.  I was surprised that I could actually see the puck, cause I never can when I would watch it on television, haha. It was a very good experience.

Before the game finished its final minutes, we decided to leave to avoid the exiting traffic.  By that time, it was around 7:30 PM, and it was time for Disneyland, :).  We had about three full hours to spend before they closed and we managed to squeeze in four rides between the two parks.  It was a good Sunday.

Two weekends ago, Vanessa and I took my mom out for dim sum in the morning.  I haven't taken my mom out in a while, and she seemed happy that I had invited her.  I think I have gotten Vanessa hooked, :)

Later that night, I went on my first gondola ride!  It's the closest thing to a Venice experience for me.  The 50 minute ride took us within the canal of private homes and docks, which was surprisingly beautiful.  The neighborhood was quiet and the water was calm.  The ride gave us complementary champagne with cheese and bread.  Thanks darling.

The next day was our second archery lesson.  This time, we chose to work on recurve bows.  Last time we did the compound one, and in the end we both agreed we like the recurve ones more.  It was a lot harder to draw back, let alone aim well.  However, when you hit a target, the amount of satisfaction makes up for it. After our second lesson, we were approved by the trainer to rent bows and shoot without them being present!  I think we are both addicted now, meaning that we will be buying bows soon. :)
