The fourth instrument.

Once again, I made another impulsive purchase today. Out of the blue, I purchased a violin online. It was a Cecilio Ebony Fitted Violin (in black). We will see how this goes.

The Businessman

Drawing by Amy

Yup, that's me!

I've made the decision for my first body art. It will be done after graduation and I will let my mother know beforehand of course.

I've also made the decision to visit a dear friend of mine in Europe within a year's time.

Zara, Aldo, and H&M.

I haven't bought a single piece of clothing this year. Perhaps springbreak will be the time where I refill my wardrobe.

Things I am looking into getting:
  • Trousers (Grey or Beige)
  • Slacks (Grey or Black)
  • Leather Gloves
  • Scarf (Brown)
  • Lace-ups/Sneakers (Black)
  • Two fitted button-up long sleeves (Bright colors)
  • Necklace with a specific charm (the crown from "keep calm and carry on")

I'll keep practicing.

I've recently acquired two new skills: whistling and harmonizing. I am getting more and more comfortable with whistling by the day, but my harmonizing still needs more work.

Put your head down!

It was a regular closing shift at work on Friday, until we all decided to go to Morongo after closing. I ended up being one of the drivers, and I was responsible for Erick, Erin, and eventually Taylor. In the other car however, was full of troublemakers, and sure enough that title caught up with them. Our car was parked near the front of the casino while Tyler's truck was parked on the top floor of the structure. They called us to park next to them for some pre-game drinking, and we accepted the offer.

As we drove up to the top of the structure, Erick noticed two security guards on bicycles in front of us. We didn't think much of it until we noticed that they were heading towards the same vehicle. As they approached Tyler's truck and proceeded to their doors, we quickly decided to keep driving and to make our way back down the structure, HAHA. We parked back at our original lot, liquored up a bit, and waited for a phone call from them. They eventually called us and told us that they were forced to pour out all of the liquor and beer they had and they were banned from Morongo for the night. So they dropped off Taylor at my car and they drove home, a very disappointing night for them.

The four of us enjoyed the remainder of the night drinking and gambling away.

Eyes on me.

This has been by far the most singing I had ever done in one day. Alexis and I went karaoke-ing for 3 hours and 20 minutes today. Since it was during happy hour, it came up to a total of 25 dollars, awesome. After having dinner at Tommy's with Ashraf accompanying us, we all sat in my car and just listened to music for a good hour. Then we decided to move our loitering spot to my house. From there, the three of us decided to make our own music for a change. We did a pretty damn good job, I must say.

Is that alright with you?

I try really hard to keep certain friendships that I believe are hard to come by. I try too hard, sometimes. I recently caused someone to avoid me because of that reason. This is very tiring, to be thinking that everything is alright when in actuality it isn't. I think I'll just stop trying altogether.

I love you, man.

Today was also Valentine's Day. This lover's night was celebrated quite differently this time around. It was spent with three good people that had all coincidentally ended their relationships. So the four of us had dinner at Shogun, where we enjoyed the food along with the services from Michelle, Grace, and Sarah. With sushi, lobster tempura, chicken katsu, beef teriyaki, miso soup, coronas, free ice cream, and free cheesecake, it surely lifted the guy's spirits. Happy Valentine's everyone, next year will be surely better.

We got fifty good years.

It was Chinese New Years today. So finally, some pictures for this colorless blog.

Bed, Bath and Beyond

"That's exactly what I want for my bed! How much is it?.....HOLY SHIT 200 dollars?

"How about that one? Oh it's 39.99! That's exactly what I want for my bed!"

Rachel made a funny today. She also said "prepare yourself David, I think 2010 will be big. I am pretty much coming back into your life so just be warned." I chuckled, and I just shrugged it off. We caught up with ourselves and talked about our old friends.

I need to finish this week of school, so I can have some time to myself. I've been thinking about a lot of different aspects in my life lately. With Chinese New Years/Valentine's Day/Marty's birthday all on this Sunday, it be quite eventful to say the least.

Registration for next quarter classes is tomorrow for me. It will be my last time doing this.

Soldier On.

Things haven't been going my way lately. As I take a deep breath when each day ends, it gradually gets clearer. It's tough, but I'll find a way to get by.

My posts on here have been incredibly dull and bland the past month. There is a lack of pictures, creativity, and soul.

Four more months.

I can't seem to concentrate. I fucked up pretty badly so far in my classes. That shall hopefully act as my wake up call. There's a serious need of motivation here.
