I'm Latching on to You

I have been out of the music scene for quite some time now, so to discover any new and talented artists will depend mostly on luck and the media.  Vanessa and I were able to get tickets to go see Sam Smith.  This man blew up over night and we knew that his tickets would rapidly increase in price if we decided to pass this opportunity.  He was amazing to see live as he sounded just like he did in his records, if anything, even better.  The venue was set up so nicely that when he began to sing "Latch," the whole place grew dim as we were covered with tiny lights that imitated stars.  This man went on to win the Grammy for Best New Artist a week after.
