It happens.

I'll be graduating tomorrow.
I'll be quitting my job this week.
I'll be getting my tattoo next week.
I'll be starting my new job in two weeks.

I remember everything.

It is coming to an end. My years of education has reached its final moments. No matter how much I have cursed at Cal Poly and the overall experience it has given me, it is now a permanent stepping stone memory of my life. My friends have been very supportive of me, a majority of them have voluntarily cleared their schedules to attend this event, and I am indeed grateful for that.

I am pretty glad that I have chosen to walk this ceremony, because it would be a nice fitting for him to see what I have done. My father was never really proud in the things I have accomplished, or the lack there of. I remember when I cried in front of my friend Elias, exclaiming that my father will never get to see me graduating college. I will most likely shed the same tears again this Saturday, so please don't judge.

This will be my gift for you, I guess. Be proud of me.

I remember everything.

Junebug

This song is so beautiful. I can't stop myself from singing this song. Have a listen with me, it's playing right now.

Junebug, I remember everything.
The blue carpeted floors, the tall wooden doors, I held you in my arms.
Junebug, I'd burndown a picture of a house,
say it was ours, when we didn't need it anymore.
And that was when I loved you best.
We were kids then. We shouldn't think about the rest.

You'd put the moon in a basket on your bike front by the coast.
The way your face lit up in pale grief you were a ghost.
You liked to play with darkness, all the universe could give.
I was the home you once tried to escape, the dark in which you lived.
And soon they'd find you laying there on several different homes.
They'd find you laying on their porches, did you need to use the phone?
And lure you into their rooms, that was the last I heard of June.
That was love I could not allow.
You were beautiful then, you're just a coke jaw now.

I remember everything. That was love I could not keep.
You were beautiful then. I'm still in too deep.

Weddings, Birthdays, and Graduations.

Seems like that time of year again when all these different types of celebrations are conglomerating. Bridal showers and receptions are becoming a rather common theme this year, as well as graduations. It's crazy to know that Waldo, Courtney, Marty, Sherman, and myself will be all college graduates in two weeks. I still remember all of us playing Mario Kart and Catchphrase back in Court's old house. Now we are all desperately searching for careers or higher education just to give ourselves that sense of self-satisfaction. Things are moving on way to fast right now.

Get it all together man.

I've been so moody lately. I'd swear it's as if I am going through my menstruation period.

My mind can't seem to stay focus. As if my mind was a radio that can never broadcast a single station clearly, but always hearing multiple neighboring stations all at once. It gets very confusing at times, more or less frustrating because the materials being broadcast becomes repetitive. Just like any mainstream radio station, you simply get tired of hearing the same lectures, lessons, and lifeless values. In the meantime, I'll keep dialing random frequencies rotating the antenna, in hopes of finding my channel.

My body is the radio, and my mind is the material being broadcast.
It will only work when there's an audience.
