It is coming to an end. My years of education has reached its final moments. No matter how much I have cursed at Cal Poly and the overall experience it has given me, it is now a permanent stepping stone memory of my life. My friends have been very supportive of me, a majority of them have voluntarily cleared their schedules to attend this event, and I am indeed grateful for that.
I am pretty glad that I have chosen to walk this ceremony, because it would be a nice fitting for him to see what I have done. My father was never really proud in the things I have accomplished, or the lack there of. I remember when I cried in front of my friend Elias, exclaiming that my father will never get to see me graduating college. I will most likely shed the same tears again this Saturday, so please don't judge.
This will be my gift for you, I guess. Be proud of me.
I remember everything.
