Sing a song for them.

Music tends to be more soothing and fitting while in new grounds. Looking out at the different rural areas passing by while giving new artists a chance is the best introduction they can get.

I got back from my mini-vacation yesterday around 6:30pm. It was a short, but yet a fulfilling three days. The Grand Canyon was of course the highlight out of the whole trip. It was everything I had expected, besides being with a bunch of other tourists. We went to the West Grand Canyon, which was still apparently under jurisdiction of a Native American tribe, and it contained the newly made attraction, the Sky Walk. Amidst all the wind and annoying tourists, the landscape was unbelievable.

The stop in Las Vegas was nothing special for my mom and I however, given the fact that we go there like three times a year. The only difference this time around was that our brothers weren't present, giving us the time to just walk down Las Vegas Blvd.
Minus the gambling and drinking,
I've never noticed how festive and entertaining Las Vegas was. My mother and I tried to catch every available free show, our efforts only took us so far, givin the factor that the heavy winds cancelled a majority of the shows there. But this time around, the Bellagio fountain show was a little bit more special than usual. It was more meaningful.

All in all, the trip was a success, but it's always good to be home.
Congratulations to Glenn for getting his license back.
Congratulations to Courtney for going to DC for interning.
Congratulations to Waldo for graduating in a few months.
And congratulations to myself, in advance, for being an uncle, once again.
