I received a very surprising, but yet a heartwarming phone call yesterday.
His name is Toshi Park, a Korean foreign exchange student that resided in Japan.
-Hello?
-Hi, David?
-Yes, Toshi??
-Yes, how are you doing
-Oh my god, I'm doing good, how about you? Where are you right now?
-I am doing good, I am back in Japan now. I came back to Japan around last quarter.
-Oh ok, that is good to hear, so you are back with you family?
-Yes, and David, I have a job now!
-Already? What kind of job?
-I am a computer programmer now!
-Oh shit, that is awesome Toshi! Congratulations man.
-Thank you, David. The reason why I called you today is to tell you that I am grateful to have met you. Thank you so much.
-....Hey, no problem Toshi, it was a pleasure of mine. Thanks for calling though.
-I had a good time in California and I wish to go back sometime. You should come to Japan sometime.
-I plan to, and if I do, I will know who to call, haha.
-Well, I have to go, Thanks again David.
-Ok, your welcome Toshi. You take care ok?
-You too, goodbye!
-Bye!
Things are looking alright.
One simple phone call made my whole college experience, about 3 years, worth it.
