Zero Energy

My face is so relaxed when it is at zero energy.

Vanessa and I went to Vegas last weekend. For two months, we've been waiting patiently for this vacation to arrive. We were originally going to stay at Circus Circus, but from hearing all the horror stories and first hand accounts from people that have never stayed at the hotel, we changed it to Hooters.

We went wild on our first night. We got to Vegas around 4.30pm and we opened our bottle of Greygoose that kept us company for the remainder of the weekend. We decided to try The Wicked Spoon buffet at the cosmopolitan. The food was good, but the selection wasn't as amazing as it was hyped. Despite that, I think the buzz from the alcohol clouded our fullness because we ate way too much. We walked back to our room and tried to uncomfortably sleep off the undigested stomaches. By 11pm, we knocked out till 9am next morning. That was our wild first night in Vegas, yolo.

On Saturday, we both were determined to make up for the prior night's failure. I'd say we succeeded in the end. We went to the pool, walked the strip, ate at the delicious Earl of Sandwich, gambled blackjack, roulette, and pai gow at the Bellagio, all the while keeping our steady buzz going with our weekend drink of Greygoose, cactus cooler, and 7-up. We got back to our room to get ready for our 7pm showing of the Cirque du Soleil's Ka at the MGM! Vanessa treated me to this show and it was amazing, thanks baby. After the show, we still had ample time for dinner, so we ate at Rainforest Cafe. We walked back and forth from MGM to Hooters since the taxi driver refused to drive us across the street, haha.

With an hour to get ready, we finished every last drip of the bottle and we ended our night with Haze, the nightclub at Aria. We both drank more at the club to ensure that we were both buzzed enough to "dance", haha. It was a very good day in Vegas.

We managed to grab some dimsum before the long drive home. The drive home consisted us discussing our favorite moments of the weekend and playing 20 questions. There was never a negative moment this whole weekend.
