120 Degrees

One mini-vacation after another, we were heading out to Palm Springs. With the knowledge of the record breaking heat, we were pretty worn out with just the thought of it. Despite the drive being pretty uneventful due to no reason at all, we arrived at the Caliente Hotel, a tropical themed mini-resort. Erin and Matt have been at the pool for about 4 hours, so we quickly joined in to cool off.

We stayed for one night, and it was enough time for me to realize that I have turned into a party pooper. By 9:30pm, I was already excited for the bed. The food coma from the amazing chimichanga and chile relleno didn't help either. But Erin was a trooper and was persistently pushing us to stay out longer. By 11, we all took one last shot and took off. However, my stomach was the first to go. The next day consisted of the pool and "The Best Thai Food in Palm Springs." We left for home relatively early, parting ways with Erin and Matt, which was an interesting couple to interact with, lol.
