Livingsocial was nice enough to let us know about this beautiful festival, but they were also tricky enough to rip us off. They're packaged deal seemed very enticing, only to know that the original ticket price was twice as cheap. But I guess it was our fault for not reading the details more carefully. Anyways, enough with the negatives. This was my first time attending a hot air balloon festival. I've always wanted to witness these events since I was a kid. The festival itself was pretty simple and linear. They had mini air shows and parachuters, as well as a few carnival games (in which I sucked balls at). The security was a joke to watch and the food selection was pretty good. The main attraction, however, was astonishing. I've seen them in pictures before, but in person they are overwhelming. Since it was at night, they flames within the balloons created a beautiful glow. I only had about one minute total to snap as many pictures as I could while they were all glowing together.
