Hola, Me Llamo David

After passing all four levels in high school and working eight years in the swap meet, my Spanish still sucks.  It was definitely put to test when I visited Guadalajara, Mexico with Vanessa and her family.  It was a rather short trip for Vanessa and I as we stayed for only the weekend.  We went for a wedding, but still had ample time to explore the city.  I would've never known that Mexico could be this beautiful if it wasn't for this trip.  From breathtaking churches to vintage style buildings and roads, it felt like I was in a European town.

With only three days, Vanessa's family made sure I was able to see the most of it.  Resulting with very few hours of sleep and tons of amazing food, my body was playing catch up.  Thanks to Meno and Faby for being such awesome hosts and tour guides that I was able to see and capture many sights on camera.  The wedding itself was a blast.  It was here that I realized that Mexican weddings have the most fun.  Almost everyone was dancing, even I partook in some dances where I would just mimic Meno to not look like a fool.   It was nice mini getaway for Vanessa and I.
