It blows my mind whenever I tell my friends that it has been a year already with Vanessa. I don't wanna brag, but I think this relationship is awesome. We have learned so much in so little amount of time, but one thing is for sure, and it's that we've only touched the tip of the iceberg.
We visited Disneyland for the first half of the day. This was the place where she became my girlfriend, and this day seemed a lot more packed than last years. Fortunately, we were able to avoid the more popular attractions and visited the smaller shows and activities that the park had to offer. We wondered into a barnyard of Halloween activities and witnessed a very humble group of hillbillies performing a comedy musical. The fiddler was a beast.
We punctually left the park by 6 for our dinner. I reserved us a table at The Little Door in Los Angeles. It was remarkably hidden with no signs outside. The only clue was that there was valet in the front and an old-looking wooden door behind them. As we opened the door, we discover a forest themed patio with dimly lit tables. The food was amazing and the place was perfect for the occasion.
My gift for her was a vinyl for the record player. As it started playing she thought it was the Ed Sheeran album, but after a few words in she realized it was in fact me. I had 8 songs translated into the vinyl by Rabbit Foot Records and it came out to be a pretty cool gift idea.
What an amazing year it has been. Happy one year V.
